Recent Updates to ONE Boomerangs

I have recently gone through some changes and a relaunch of my website, I've changed the finishes and boy they look dramatic and stunning and the same time, I am mainly focusing on bright colours, the aim is to make the boomerangs highly visible for safety and to look visually stunning as well, I think I have succeeded in my endeavour, hope everyone likes them. www.oneboomerangs.com

    Adam Carroll is not only one of the Worlds finest boomerang makers, he takes his time to make sure each boomerang is individually made and flies to perfection.
    HIs art work and craftsmanship is first class.
    I have thrown and tested his Boomerangs for over 35 years and cannot recommend them highly enough. If visiting Hobart in Tasmania contact Adam and arrange a time to meet him in a local park. It will be a highlight of a Tasmania trip.

Boomerang Designs Revisited

On the weekend I received a boomerang order, the order was for boomerangs that weren't in the Catalog but we're from a time when I made them in the past, I was happy to oblige as they were great designs that weren't popular from a sales point, I'm not sure why as they have so much potential for competition, anyway I went down to my workshop and got stuck into cutting and shaping, I revised the airfoil to make them even better than before, I went and tested them in the park and they were fantastic flyers, both a ton of fun and super accurate.  The improvements were so good I will be putting them back in the Catalog shortly, I am very happy to say the least.  The two designs are the Blast and the Cyclone, the Blast is a 50m triblader, tiny and compact, it likes a bit of wind, totally mesmerising in flight, the Cyclone is a multi purpose boomerang, it's best suited to accuracy, endurance or team relay, again lovely flight and dead on accuracy.  I feel I have breathed n

Why I Choose Plastic for Boomerang Making

Well, when I first started making boomerangs I could see it was a hard task, not only was good quality plywood hard to find but if you did find some it cost The earth to buy, I did try a wide variety of plywood, everything from Queensland maple, Hoop pine, Meranti and Finish birch, all reasonable quality but I couldn't find any consistency from sheet to sheet, the grain varied a lot and the density was always different and not consistent, this doesn't help repeat ability when making boomerangs. I like the fact to that plastic is incredibly easy to tune without breaking, especially polypropylene. New Affordable Boomerang Range
